Decor ideas for kids rooms
Create a room for your child that grows as they do from baby to toddler to tween. Here are some decor ideas to consider when decorating kids rooms.
- By painting a nursery in a neutral colour scheme, the room will be suitable for a boy or girl and easy to update as they grow.
- It’s all about adding colorful accessories. For a less permanent alternative add murals on the walls. Little girls love pink but choose a soft shade that is not too overpowering.
- Contemporary wallpaper can give a wow factor, opt for something that won’t date but can grow with them.
- Storage is very important, the more, the merrier! Open shelving like cube or floating shelves are great for displaying toys and books.
- Wall mounted coat racks works well as a hanger for hats, coats, gowns, etc.
When buying a cot for a Nursery, consider buying a cot-bed. They convert into a junior bed. Think long term, avoid spending too much money on something that will be outgrown within a few years.
